NGPT Piano Audition 2023

Here is my entire submission for the National Guild of Piano Teacher’s Piano Audition 2023. I was participating to receive my Piano Diploma upon graduation from 12th grade; quite a feat considering how I played each piece from memory 🚀🚀🚀 albeit I did compete successfully the year prior, hence receiving the Piano Diploma in Social Music.

I did end up passing and now have two plaques sitting cheerfully on the wall in my room 🤗🤗🤗

The following is the set-list of all pieces:

  1. J.S. Bach Prelude No. 2 BWV 847
  2. J.S. Bach Fugue No. 2 in c minor
  3. Beethoven Sonata Op. 27 No. 2 “Moonlight”
  4. Beethoven Sonata Op. 2 No. 1 in f minor
  5. Chopin Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1 in c minor
  6. Chopin Fantasie Impromptu Op. 66
  7. Chopin Etude Op. 10 No. 3 in E Major
  8. Gershwin Prelude III
  9. Last but not least, a series of chords, cadences, and scales of all Major and minor (Harmonic, Melodic, Natural) keys.
